A clear process helps reduce risk, avoid surprises and keep work moving on occupied buildings.
1. Site inspection and scope. We inspect the façade from ground level and, where needed, from roof or balcony areas. We identify staining, algae, traffic grime, salt residue, dust build-up, paint condition, sealant condition and previous cleaning damage.
2. Access planning. We decide whether rope access, EWPs or a combination will work best. This may include reviewing anchor points, parapets, roof plant, BMUs, public footpaths and loading zones. If safety systems require attention, we can advise on height safety systems.
3. Method statement and SWMS. We prepare job-specific documentation, including control measures for working at height, chemical handling, water run-off, pedestrians and building occupants.
4. Cleaning works. Our technicians complete the wash-down using the agreed method, which may include soft washing, pressure cleaning, rinse-downs and detail work around edges. Where needed, we can coordinate related rope access window cleaning.
5. Handover and reporting. We review the work area, provide completion photos or notes where suitable and recommend any follow-up maintenance, such as façade caulking and sealing where gaps or deteriorated sealant are noticed.
